WELCOME to our site and to the wonderful world of fishing tackle. The WATC is
young club formed for the young and young at heart, the collector and the
accumulator, and anyone in between. We strive to operate in an atmosphere of fun
and friendship and yet maintain some standards of fairness. We DO NOT AND WILL
NOT tolerate any misrepresentation of any item of fishing tackle, i.e. passing off a
repaint as an original; and, we DO NOT AND WILL NOT tolerate anyone that will not
deal fairly with other members and non-members, i.e. backing out of a deal because
someone offered more money and intentionally making low offers when buying
tackle from anyone. Violating these two principles will result in immediate and
irrevocable expulsion from the club.
We do not care what you care to collect or accumulate in relation to age or value.
Every person has their own interests and all of us have our financial limits also. One
of our goals is to help you with whatever you collect in regards to making your
collection grow and improve. The other goal is to have fun, make friends, and enjoy
the HOBBY of fishing tackle collecting.
Currently, we have one show and that is in Duncan, OK . The show this year is June
3 and 4, 2011. The club also has a booth in the Oklahoma Hunting and Fishing Show
We were in OKC on January 28-30, 2011 and, for the first time, Ed represented us in Tulsa,
OK at the Tackle Show there from February 18-20, 2011. As of now, we will be going to both
shows again in 2012. As the club grows so will thenumber of shows and the benefits the club
will provide its members.
